Does anyone know anything about travel insurance (both medical and travel related)? I am travelling around the world for 6 months and am not sure what kind of insurance to purchase. I know I want trip insurance..it is the health insurance that is confusing me. I was going to sign up with an individual health insurance provider in the US (it would cost $130/monthly).

Off of the BootsnAll website I found a link to Uni Card Travel Insurance. Has anyone purchased this insurance. It looks like a good deal for both health and travel converage.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think $130 a month is way high. I think $350 a year would be easily enough ( less than a dollar a day.
