Well....if you feel like trying your hand at travel writing, I've got story ideas on the following topics and I'm looking for some writers. This is more topic-specific writing versus destination specific writing. It is, of course, by no means comprehensive, so please feel free to suggest other topics.

Here are the topics I've got so far:
Budget and Money
Disabilities
Eco/Responsible Tourism
Eurail
Expats
Family Travel
Food and Alcohol
GLBT
Health
How-To (cook, clean, sew, etc.)
Missionary (I don't have any ideas for this one, so suggestions please!)
Military Travel (Only one idea here, so suggestions here too please!)
Senior Travel
Solo Travel
Spas
Space Travel
Student Travel
Study Abroad
TEFL
Travel Products (non-tech)
Volunteer
Work Abroad

If you know about any of these topics and want an assignment, please let me know which ones you're interested in and I'll throw some ideas your way. E-mail me at court at BootsnAll dot com, Private message me, leave a message here, etc etc etc.

Thanks guys Smile

Court

Edit Reason: Added ideas mentioned below. Now who wants to write em?????

Hey Court

I'm heading on my student exchange to South Korea in 12 days. Is there anything I can do for you? I saw that Study Abroad was one of your wishes...

I want to see an on-the-road laundry guide for those of us that are completely incompetent even when there's modern machinery involved.

I agree with Matt, some articles on the "mundanes" (cooking, cleaning, sewing etc...) would be awesome.

All you need to know about military travel:

During an attack never be the first man...
During a retreat never be the last man...

How to do laundry on the road?

How to cook, clean, sew on the road?

Am I the only one who finds that funny?

(No offense, hopefully. Smile)

Well if someone knows some magical way to dry clothes quicker, that'd be an article I'd love to read! HeHe

I do most of my travel solo, but frankly I'm not sure how much there is to write about the subject. I could list some pros and cons, but other than that it's not really very different from non-solo travel.

I have very limited experience with studying abroad (in Novosibirsk, Russia). I allready mentioned this in my Siberia story, but I'd be willing to contribute a longer artile specifically on this aspect if you're compiling study abroad stories.

Also, a section about visas would be useful - requirements, how to get around them (like someone told me he got reservations at the Baku Hilton for 20 days to get a visa for Azarbaijan, then cancelled them immideately after), the best/worst places to apply for them on the road, if it's possible to get an extension and how to do that, etc.
