Oh yay! I stayed there for a few weeks when I was in the process of moving to Portland and I just signed a lease on an apartment which is about 5 blocks from there (maybe we're neighbors tiff?). Look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey Vagabondette

You are invited to spiced apple cider (spiked of course), on friday night. No idea on time yet.

Sweet! I have it on my calendar! It'll be nice to meet some other travelers. I love my friends and family but for the most part I get a blank stare when I say things like "I want to travel for over a year with only a backpack smaller than a carry-on suitcase" and "I'm not sure where I'm going yet. I'll see what I feel like once I land in Thailand." Big Grin

Hey all the seattle booties are organising a carpool. So far we have Trekker, Kjierstan and Michey_B leaving friday to PDX and coming back on sunday. If any other booties, either from canada or along the way want to join in the carpool, let us know.

Also anyone want to do trips like we did last year, or just fly by the seat of our pants....

Does this mean there'll be no room at the inn if I arrive in Portland that weekend? I'm not sure I can deal with that level of commitment.

normally those voucher expiration dates are the day you have to book by - you can travel later. At least that's been my experience.
