Hi Nick,

Just wondering if it has been raining much over there? The weather on the net looks like it has been raining everyday with a little sunshine!

Also what is the feeling over there right now about the Bali Bombers - headlines tonight on the news about them and that they may be exucuted very soon. They had a lot to say about Australian's and making huge threats and that we have a hard time coming our way if the exucution goes ahead !

Raining right now. We'll see intermittent showers all through the Christmas period, with sunny periods.

Bali seems to operate in its own world. The plight of the bombers, the climate conference and other news worthy events seem to drift by with expats and locals focusing on their own reality. From what I can tell most people won't comment on the bombers until the day we hear they are dead.

Hey Kim,

In Bali now, and all i can say is," Why cant our aussie farmers get a bit of this rain??????????????"Its been great to experience the wet season and man has it been wet!!! Its given us a chance to do some work on our house, mind u we still have heaps of plants waiting to be planted as the pelting rain has put a stop to that.

Enjoy your time here............

Rain--

I was thinking about going to Bali next Dec-Jan. Is the rainy season quite bad then? (I've read that's the rainy season.) Does it make it quite unpleasant? Thoughts?

Thanks!

We have been in Bali many times during Wet season and it by no means detracts from our enjoyment.
While there are very wet days /part days you will always still get beautifull dry sunny days also.
The wet days are ideal for heading to the big shopping Malls and having a good look around. The dry days great for sight seeing.
When raining it is still nice and warm so that also cuts down on the discomfort.
