We are going to Bali in July 07 and my husbands passport runs out in May 07, rang the Indonesian Consulate today to ask if we could do it by registered post, as its over two hours drive to the Consulate in Maroubra, plus we work and the kids are at school etc. They said fine, they can do it by post and to renew the passport is $40, to me this sounds too cheap, but the Indonesian lady on the other end of the phone said, very cheap now, you are lucky. Does anyone know if this is right, have you done it lately?

Well my mum ended up driving Made to Maroubra in Sydney to get the passport, bargin it only cost $40AUD for a 5 year passport, thats heaps cheaper than an Aussie one. Yippee bring on July.

Happy days, cheap and quick.

July might be a busy time, our family will be in Bali/Lombok for the first 2 weeks. We cant wait.
