Hollo all can anyone tell me when ramadan 2007 kisks off and what is the date for the really quite day when it finishes?

Starts Sept. 12th 2007 . Last day is Idul Fitri.

Ramadan isn't an issue on Bali, although Nyepi (big Hindu holiday) definitely is. The island practically closes for that day.

I know Ramadan doesn't compare with nyepi but i was up there for ramadan a few years back and it was chaotic.A lot of folks form Jakarta ect had their own vehicles on the roads adding mayhem to mayhem.we were lucky to get a table at breakfast in the mornings at our hotel and getting a lounger by the pool ==forget it.
We have booked for 27th Oct-not flexi as we have friends meeting us from UK so i was hoping we would miss it this time--looks like we have.
