...and it's hard to be back!!

My fiance and I just spent 3 weeks surfing, diving, eating, sleeping, pooling, sleeping, surfing and watching $1 DVD's.

::sigh::

I want to go back.

If you can tear yourself away from Kuta, Legian, Seminyak you will see a totally different part of the island. You can rent a car for 100,000rp per day and drive yourself, or hire a driver, maybe for an extra 50,000rp a day. Do it.

My brother and I just did a mini tour of East Bali and found a beautiful place to stay in the middle of nowhere. Located on the NE coast in the village of Tejakula is a place called Poincianna Bungalows owned by a lady named Nyoman. THey have peace and quiet, a truer version of Bali, AC rooms and pool. Its paradise! In the mountains behind Tabana there is Sanda Butik Villas, a lovely place set in a coffee plantation. Its all waiting for you, but you must let go of the bank and go with the flow.
