Hi Taryn
If your vaccinated up to Australian standard you should be fine.Just check you Hep B status and Tetanus --sometimes,depending in you age, you may be ready for a booster.There have been some reports of Thyphoid cases around bali so it may be wise to have a shot for that.
Tale some Tropical strength Aerogard so as the mossies don't use you as a smorgasboard and only use bottled water--even for brushing your teeth.
Have a great time.
Cheers laurs

Hello again Taryn.
Unfortunately the March holiday has been and gone :We were there from 3rd to 15th of March.It was our 6th trip to Bali and we had a ball as usual.We have booked ,already, to go
again on 27th October.
We always find something new and different to do every time we go.We also have lots of friends up there both locals and expats.Bali is like a second home to us these days.We always stay at the same small hotel in Padma St, Legian.
Nick has heaps of info on this site to help point you in the right girections but if you want to tell me some of the things you enjoy doing I would be glad to give you a few pointers too.Any questions just fire away.
Cheers Laurs Smile

Oh wow...What was the weather like out there this time of year??
Me and my boyfriend are goin on the 8th of july upto the 31st..is it nice weather there then??
Here are the names of the hotels that we are staying in, im just wondering if you know anything about them?Or anyone else whos reading this if they could write too then that would be great??Or about the areas..Its our first time to go there, actually its our first holiday together so i'm really excited!

Samsara hotel, 4 nights - Legian

Pelangi bali, 4 nights - Seminyak

Puri santrian, 3 nights - Sanur

Ketut's place, 3 nights - Ubud

Hai tide huts, 3 nights - Nusa Lembongan

Mecure hotel, 4 nights - Kuta

Kuta Paradise, 2 nights - Sth kuta

Also, I have been told everyone is friendly but they can be really in your face at markets etc when they want yu to come over to their stall..and i have heard that is what it's like pretty much everywhere, is this true??

I love to shop, and i've heard bali is great for that.Im just wondering if anyone knows where to get cheap Chanel, LV etc?...also, can you have lots of massages there? I have been looking at the websites of the hotels that we are staying at, they all seem to be about $20, $40 out there for an hour massage, which is pretty expensive if you want lots of them, im just wondering is there any cheaper places, on the beach etc that we could get them, and a rough estimate of how much it would be?

I know, i know..so many questions!! Only a few more to go Smile

Here are some of the tours and things that we are doing when we are in bali, i'm just wondering if anyone has done any of them before?? Or heard about what they are like??

* Tanah lot sunset tour
* A bali way of life day tour
* White water rafting
* Waterbom park

We also want to go on an elephant ride, does anyone have any ideas of where we could go for one, price? etc..
We want to book that when we get there, is that possible??

One last question, i would like to get hair extensions when i'm there, do they do those in Bali? and has anyone had them done or seen where they do them? How much do they cost??And does anyone know what methods they use?

Anyone who can answer any of the MILLION questions above, i hope to hear from yu soon. xx Smile Thanks
