Hi, I',m in Bali now, but I'm slightly going out of my mind.

Perhaps I'm not too good at this solo travel business.

It would be nice to meet fellow Bootsnallers and just have a chat. I'm currently in Kuta, going to Lavinia tomorrow or the day after. Is there anyone around I could meet for dinner or a beer? I've also lost my guidebook, so any tips would be very welcome.

Yeah, shame we just missed each other.

I'm in Lovina because people say the weather is better in the north--doesn't look like it. Anyway, I check out the place for a few days. My husband is coming up on the 21st and I wonder where to take him...

Wow seriously?? I'm star-struck!

I'm back in Kuta right now because the weather in Lovina was atrocious. My hubby's due to arrive on the 21st and I'm still thinking about taking him straight to the Gilli islands, but I've got the impression that the rain follows me around wherever I go

If you're serious about having dinner, could you give me an address to show to a cab/bemo driver? I don't know Bali at all--my guide book's been nicked--so anywhere you say would be great.

Also Dama, we could still meet up. Maybe we can all have a little get-together or something? I wonder how many BNA-ers are in Bali right now; but it has to be said that none of us are particularly lucky with the weather.

I'll be back on email around 10am Bali time tomorrow.
