Hey Nick,Great site. i have been reading here since i desided bali was the place to go.
Here's what i'm thinking... arriving March 9
i would like to find a room for the first three days in kuta with airport pick-up{maybe you can recommend a place} get some rest find a used board{what do you think prices would be?}get my bearings. stock my pack.light clothing,med kit,water,{not bringing much}.get some sun on my white a**.rent a scooter{after riding on a few as taxis to get the way of the road a little}.
and plan my next move as in going over to stay on the eastside to surf{been surfing only about four years....hope i'm not in over my head} meet you at tubes to buy you a beer pick your brain and thank you for this site. and go from there. i'm sure i left out a ton of things i will need to learn as i go.but that is a start. hope my post is in line with board regs and any help you can give or anyone else. will be sweet. thanks in advance looking forward to meeting you and yours.
