Three of the places I've been to are Blue ocean in Seminyak. No charge for access, only food and drinks. Slow speed.

Joulla's on Jl. Dhyana Pura, same deal again, only charged for food and drinks.

There is a place in Kuta on Jl. Legian, across from Poppies II. It 24 hour, same deal again, if you bring a laptop.

Bali Deli has an upstairs lounge, but they sell 100,000rp vouchers to get online.

There are many moere places, and I sense this is a trend. When I came to Bali in 2003, there were a few decent internet cafes, many small crappy places, no free one. Now there are many new decent cafes, with new hardware, USB ports, CD burners etc. plus hotspots.

R.Ajah's has relocated to Jl.Legian, besides the Bintang Supermarket. The food is great and reasonable priced.

But they didn't have a hotspot, last time I checked (november 2006).

There is one downstairs though, at the Cafe in front of Bintang. You have to order a drink/food and get an access code, which you then can use with your wifi device.

I found the coffee prices there a bit high though, for Bali standards. It's more like an Expat-only joint.

Cheers,
Chris

Raja's is upstairs in the Bintang parking lot. Food is okay, great place to people watch with a drink. Never busy.

I thought they had a hotspot as there there wre always guys with laptops, much be mistaken. There is a hotspot at Cafe Seminyak and another one at Joulla's on Jl. Dhyana Pura.
