I'm travelling to Bali in November and hoping to have a quiet break. Would appreciate it if someone could recommend which will be the best accomodation between these hotels:

1. The Lokha Legian Hotel
2. Alam Kul Kul Boutique Resort
3. All Season Resort Legian

My personal choice will be to stay at Mecure Kuta Bali but I'm hoping to get some feedback on any of the above hotels before I decide.

Cheers.

Shadowchaser,

Out of the 3 I have visited the Alam Kul Kul and All Seasons.

The Alam Kul Kul is located on the top end of Jl. Pantai Kuta, the beach road, so beach access is easy, just cross the street. The AKK is really a spa hotel, with many people doing a different treatment or 2 everyday. Its not a party hotel even out by the pool.

All Season is located a couple of blocks north, close to the Jayakarta. The surrounding area is shops and restaurants. Blue Ocean beach (a good place for food and drinks) can be accessed in several minutes by walking. The All Seasons has a more lively pool scene and could be more fun. The rooms I saw at the All Seasons were basic and decent. Prices are less too.

Hi There
Have had quite a few friends stay at the Lokha it's on Padma St.Surrounded by shops and resturants.easy walk to the beach.Rooms are very spacious and modern. The most expensive rooms are the ground level ones by the pool they have their own little terrace.the upper storey rooms all have balconies overlooking the pool.
They do a large buffet breakfast and the staff are terrific according to my friends. We spent some time visiting them in the Lokha and if for some reason couldn't get a room in our preferred hotel we would give it a go.
Cheers laurs

I really love Alamkulkul, the price is okay and it is 4 star boutique resort. They have just renovated, . A major part of the renovation included creating facilities for families such as a new kids pool, child day care center, large family rooms.
I have got 143 USD for Family Room. Alamkulkul Hotel , you can check it out.

AlamKulKul located in the heart of the shopping, dinning and entertainment center of Kuta / Legian, now markets itself as a family boutique resort for a niche market.
