Heh Nick.
Hotel has quoted $15US for one of their cars to pick 3 of us up and luggage from airport to our hotel in Legian. Will it be cheaper to just grab a driver at airport? Just wondering if there is much of a saving to be made or whether to pay hotel. Where u from in UK too? I am from a village near Solihull?

Just answering you question.A metered taxi from the airport to Legian costs about 40-50000 rp thats $6-7 AUD a six seater van you negoiate the price with the driver but it's usually 70-80000 rp $10-12 AUD.Not sure what $12 US is worth but sounds a bit steep --it's only a fiften minute drive from the airport to Legian.

thanks for response. thought it would be cheaper heh? normally included in airfare on previous trips but not this time. prob will hail a cab. should be heading to uk really but not interested at mo. love bali, its people, culture etc the list goes on. anyone in bali late june to mid july? would love to meet for drinks/dinner?

Airport taxi office is 10 meters to your right as you come out of immigration. 40,000rp to Legian. Quick and easy.

$15 is way too much from the airport to Legian. Just take a taxi.
