Hey,
Im heading to bali in late Dec. Staying at a few diff hotels 2 nights each til my friends arrive for new years. then got a week at Baleka Beach hotel.
Soon as i get in wanted to find a decent spa & salon in Kuta/Legian area. then prepare to soak up the sun
Can anyone suggest anywhere ?

Also what are the NYE events lined up?

I'm writing about spas in Bali right now on my blog if you're interested. I had 30 spa treatments in 30 days, so I have lots of advice. One place I would highly recommend is Chill for reflexology. It's on Jl. Kunti and it was my favorite place in the area. Splurge and go for the 2 person massage. It's less than US$20 for an hour. Can't beat that!

Many small salons in the Kuta area that provide some spa-like services. One affordable place in Seminyak that many expats like is Bodyworks , located Jl. Seminyak.

For New Years all the main nightlife venues will be rocking, including MBarGo in Kuta, Double Six in Legian and Jl. Dhyana Pura in Seminyak.
