So I'm off in a week to Bangkok, and then who knows! I've got $5,000 and no time limit, so I'm gonna play things by ear and see where I end up. Reading stuff on this site has been quite a help, so I have to give thanks to the creators and also to the particular members who helped me think out some places to go and how to get there.

My first stop though is a one day layover in Tokyo, which I know isn't much time but I'm going to make the best of it. Any suggestions for things to do are more than welcome.

If you guys are bored at anytime, feel free to check out my blog for my trip, though I am a horrible writer, so it'll only be good for a few chuckles.

If anyone's going to be in Bangkok or Thailand in the next month feel free to drop me a private message and maybe we can meet up for some drinks or a daytrip.

I'll be in Thailand from Wednesday until the end of Febuary - no plans as yet except Full Moon Party but I'm sure whatever happens will be fun. Let me know where you end up, and look out for the girl wandering around with excessively large pink and orange dreads as that is likely to be me, especially if she also looks deeply confused.

I tried to PM you but my computer is having Issues - hope you see this.

Dave: thanks for the kind words (even though you are a State guy).

What did the Michigan State graduate say to the Michigan graduate?

"Hey Boss"

Zopa: I'll definitely be checking in on BNA from time to time. I see you're into volunteering abroad. know of anything in Thailand?

Mewcat: I'm definitely going to the Full Moon party as well, so maybe I'll see you there.
