Does anyone know if there is a website that tells you the differences between the rules of the road in the country you learnt to drive in and the rules in other countries in the world?

Or am I just asking for the moon on a stick?

(Even the differnces between UK and NZ would be good)

We're off to NZ for a year and plan to buy a car whilst there. It all looks straight forward as New Zealanders drive on the side of the road I am used to, etc, but I know from driving in Ireland that subtle differences (speed restrictions, rights of way at traffic signals, etc) can cause big problems.

For example - I know in some countries, if a traffic light is red you can still turn the corner unless there are pedestrians crossing. Not so in the UK, but how about NZ?

A lot of the links are out of order, but hopefully the ones you're interested are on there!
