We're leaving April 1, so the blog is up and running (though sparse - sorry Booties). We'll be updating it with gadgets, packing stuffs and other sundry items but wanted to send it around.

Looks very cool. Have fun on the adventure!

A tech question: How'd you get that google maps insert? My blog is also hosted by blogspot, so maybe I just have to play around with it more. Great little map.

I haven't spent much time on it yet, but I love the title!

And congratulations on your soon-to-come departure date! I still can't believe I'm gone already... Smile

Yeah - nice one - that inspired me to get a google map on our blogger blog - wish there some more line colours though!

Its great to have the maps and packing lists and other stuff - not just for people planning on boards like these to see - but mostly because of friends and family - i feel like an action man 'walkie-talkie' doll, the amount of times I have to reel off the route - if only I had a penny for every time I have explained the benefit of right/left zipper sleeping bags!

littletarsier - very excited for you. we are off on 23.3. I am actually going quite mental. I think my mind is already going at 20000 feetSmile

Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Jake: if you have a google account and go to google maps, you can sign in with your google account and then (on the lefthand column) click on the tab "my maps" and "create a new map" and then you can type in locations and add them to your new map. Google has really improved the interface for Maps. When you change it/add to it, you can click on the link on the top right corner saying "link to this map" and copy the HTML into a "new page element" in blogger.

If this makes no sense, PM me. You can also look through the FAQs/troubleshooting from Blogger.
