So here is my dilemma:
I dont have any particular place I want to go to...just Earth. I will be travelling for 1-2 years and am VERY flexible...I will be covering everywhere except America (I am from Canada). My main concern is staying warm. I have had enough snow for a very long time (any Canadians will attest to this years freak weather patterns); rain is ok but I would not be happy in below freezing temps. I have gotten my pack down to 15 pounds and I refuse to add any "winter type" clothing. I do not need to be in scorching sun (in fact this would probably fry my delicate Canadian skin) but like I said, I am only taking clothes that can be worn from +5C and up.
My wish is that someone can offer advice on some kind of direction. My hope is to leave Aug-Sept.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help smile

Warm weather isn't hard to find. If you consider which hemisphere you're in ( north or south ) and if you are closer to winter or summer you'll get an idea of what to expect.

If you stay between the boundaries of 40 degrees latitude north and south of the equator you will be in the warm zone. Of course there are several factors that influence weather / temperature.

Some of the are : time of year, proximity to the ocean ( closer, temps stay within a certain range, farther away temps range more wildly ), elevation ( even on Bali, which is close to the equator it can get chilly in the highlands ), ocean / wind patterns, what side of a mountain range you are on etc.

THe closer to the equator you stay the less the year round temperatures vary.

Let us know how your trip goes and all about the great places you visit.
