I believe Rolf used to be a moderator for the vagabonding thread. In fact, I believe the thread started as a result of his work.

That book has changed my life. I have nothing but praise for Rolf Potts, he has an amazing outlook on life.

bna is actually one of the sponsors of a writing workshop this summer in Paris, where Rolf will be teaching on travel writing.

Here's the info Creative Writing Workshop

I would love to go, wouldn't that be cool, but unfortunately I'm not a writer, although I would love learn how, maybe when I start my RTW trip.

Cheers.

I just wanna add to the praise on the book Vagabonding. I'm not a big reader so it was important that this wasn't a tough read. It was just what I needed exactly when I needed it. Actually, it might have been a few weeks too late because I started school and wasn't working full time at the moment so saving was hard.

It got right to the point and it hits every desire that we all have. It even has a reference to BNA in it as a resource. I didn't find BNA because of the book but they both popped up in my life around the same couple of days.

Changed me definitely. Made travel SO easy. Made everything about my life a little bit easier and gave me a good place to start.

What a smart ass you are!!!

I guess that's what I like about you, that & your vintage wheels, quick wit, enormous travel info also liked your better half, Mavis.

I actually left my desk for an hour or so and came back & read it & fixed it before it refreshed to see your smartass coment.

Back to the topic...I'm almost ashamed to admit that I haven't read it. Sure I've been meaning to pick it up for the last 6 mths or so, but that's it I'm leaving straight from work to pick it up.

Wink

Thanks all.

So sorry. I'm just randomly writing blatantly obvious statements all day. I think I'll call it spam.
