Hi there,

Well, this will seem like a newbee question ( and it is ), I'm changing my mind a lot ( because I did not get yet an arrengement with the company yet for my year off).

I'm planning a RTW trip, starting feb 06 ot Apr 06, the places I would like to go are : India, SE Asia, South America, South Africa, Tanzania.... The fact is, given my start dates, yould you suggest clockwise ( I'll like to spend 5 months in Asia, 3 in South America, And 3 months in Africa ).

What it'll be your suggestions for a trip like this ?

Good point, research the weather.

Rainy season starts up in the Andes in Dec (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia; not good time for Rurrenabaque (sp?)), but you can have still good stretches of weather in the mountains. At the same time Patagonia will start warming up (too much heat is not an issue there).

Feb-march is not good for Tahiti, but is good on Easter Island (great place!)

India is getting pretty warm in April. You can get a break at hill stations (our favorite was Darjeeling, however it was misty for all 5 days there, so we could not see the other end of town, let alone Kanchenjunga)

East Africa was good in Jan.

Have a good trip!
