Hi All,
I'm looking to travel from Seattle or Nigata via boat to Vladivostok to jump on the Trans-Siberian. Any ideas? I've found plenty of info on going from Vladivostok to Japan, (particularly via plane) but not vice versa by boat. Any ideas much appreciated. Cheers. |

I know there are ferries running to Vlad, but I'm not sure from where in Japan. There is one route from Sokcho here in South Korea that ends in Zarubino, which is about 90km from Vlad. There are busses that meet most incoming ferries; otherwise it's a $100 taxi into central Vlad.
