I finished school recently and have the chance to take some time off before starting work. I'm just wondering what people would suggest for trips sometime in the next 3 months.

I thought about it some more, and was considering:

- southern europe (portugal, spain, italy, greece), maybe into egypt to see the pyramids
- china, s.e. asia
- s. america (but isn't it getting into fall now?)

How much money do you have? What are you interested in?

I would try for either South America (Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia) or the Middle East (Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey) - in June it'll be very hot in Egypt!

Or maybe do the Trans-Siberian across Russia and then spend some time in Mongolia/China. Or visit SE Asia. Or New Zealand... too many choices!

Ok, that's kinda vague. It's a big planet, and nothing really springs to mind as places best avoided march to june.

Also, unless your heading for the Patagonia (southern Chile and Argentina), I wouldn't worry much about weather in S. America. The bulk of it is located in the tropics, so time of year isn't a huge factor.

Myself, I love the middle east as suggested by Malena (I can't get enough of Turkey), but given the choices you mentioned, I'd favour S. America.
