I am about to purchase my round the world ticket (through trailfinders) the ticket i have decided to go for is the Global Explorer, for me it seems to be better as it lets me do the route exactly as i want it ex: i can from oz to south america via fiji (the one world ticket will not let me do this) and getting from bali to oz is direct instead of going via singapore, so it seems to be pretty good, the only thing is i am exactly at the right amount of mileage and that means i really can't change my route at any point as it could go over the mileage limit and cost me a fortune.

Baisically i just want to know if other people have used the lobal Explorer ticket and how did they find it? did they have any problems?

I would have bought the one world ticket as it is more flexible to change your destinations but there were a few places it restricted me from going to, ex: fiji

also any comments on Trailfinders vs STA ?

any advise greatly apreciated
