Anyone ever just taken off on a year-long/indefinite RTW with little/no money and no plans? I've only been home 4 months and I'm getting itchy again...

plans!! who needs plans???? (says the guy who has spent 14 months planning a RTW, but maybe wishes he hadn't bothered and just run to the nearest airport to catch the next plane)

money on the other hand...call me old fashioned but that would scare the bejesus out of me.

The first time I was gone for 18 months, the second for 3 1/2 years. Both times I bought a oneway ticket over. The first time I had $200. The second time I lived it up and had $1500.

Obviously I worked, camped, slept in a park or two, but some days I lived it up. Depending on your tolerance, it's a fun way to go. While it isn't always easy, it's always interesting.
