Holds PhD in Packing
Posted
Hi excuse me if this has been done before. I was thinking today about some places I've been to in my part of the country that aren't as well known, and may not be in the guidebooks, and if you all would share that too, I'd like to put some of those places on my list of things to see if I can.

I'll start. I live in southern Missouri, near the Ozarks, and the prettiest place I've ever been to is a place called Greer Springs. It's out in the middle of nowhere, and you have to hike a mile to get to it, but there's a cave down there, and a large spring coming out of the cave. The banks down to it are steep and covered with ferns and greenery. It's just beautiful. It's over by Winona, Missouri, a few miles off of Hwy 60.

I thought of that, but since I live in MO, and someone else might live in Australia, I wasn't sure which one to post to. So what's neat where you live? I'm not that far from there. Also nerdygirl (love that name!), if you think of that website let me know. That sounds like one I'd like to see.
