Do you find recycling easy to do outside of the US? Do you pack your recyclables with you out of areas that dont recycle?

The first time I went to Ireland they didn't recycle and I couldn't bring myself to throw away a bottle. I had to give it to someone else to do it.

Anyone else out there a so called recycle nazi?

Image of Ireland that most Americans have: everyones redheaded, everywheres a cute little village. everything is green and covered in clovers. and leprechauns run around freely chasing after thier lucky charms

Recycling on the south island of New Zealand was pretty impossible. (Ok, well Wanaka had a good program.)

It felt pretty shameful to toss my cans in the garbage in such a pretty place.
