Has anyone read this offering from Lonely Planet?

I'm intrigued but not sure if I want to shell out for a hard cover.

I read a short story called Special Delivery by Lindsy Van Gelder that pretty much changed my life. http://www.salon.com/wlust/feature/1999/03/03feature.html

It's right smack dab in the realm of experimental travel.

I heard Don George on the radio awhile back and the book sounds like it hits the mark.

I found it at the library here. Perhaps your library can special order it? I've been able to get the system here to order a bunch of things. Doesn't take too long.

I decided that this was one travel book I had to have! there are loads of great ideas in it, and some brilliant reports of what happened when various people attempted to put them into practice.
