Hey all,

Over in the UK we have a 5 part series on at the moment with an English "comedian" travelling around China to find out more about the country.

Now this guy who is a regular panelist on a political quiz show is always grumpy and negative on whatever shows I have seen him but I was realy hoping he would be different on this one.....sadly no. In fact I have to go as far to say as he is just plain rude and sometimes unecessarily argumentative and shows a lack of respect for the people he meets.

Has anyone else seen this? What do they think? I'm off to China in August and really looking forward to it and am trying my best to look beyond this lumbering bufoon to the places he is visiting so I can try and get an image of what visiting China will be like,

I watched a bit of that series not knowing what it was like before.
Comedian? Now that´s a good joke... I didn´t find him funny at all, really, not, funny......Booooring! Too bad he always seemed in the way so it was hard to really see the places he visited.

I am always looking for something new, so if anyone can suggest an alternative documentary/series for China please mention it here.
