Trolling for Groupies |
Holy doodle,
First saw this at a film fest in Australia. All I can reallly say is...if you love yer arse kicking martial arts flicks, please please check this out, you sooo will not be dissapointed. This guy is Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li all rolled up into one. Yes, he's that good. Here's a file to give you an idea of what this guy can do (but be warned, the file is about 40 megs). Eh, I would tell you about the plot, but this movie isn't about a plot maaaaan. It's all about kicking ass. And if you enjoy action, you should check it out. PS-For you Southpark vans, there is even a villain that has a voice box! ------------------------------ Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...we won't get fooled again. Insert Stereotype Here |

I second Mr. Chris D's recommendation! Tony Ja is pretty amazing. His style is a beautiful blend of strength and suppleness. In an interview he said that Bruce Lee is his idol. That's already a step in the right direction |

I downloaded it the other day, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. It looks fun. He still has several bones to break to catch up with Jackie Chan though I think.

Knows What a Schengen Visa Is |
My brother was raving about this movie the other day. I'm going to give it a look see...then I can be cool like the rest of you and discuss it.

I did watch it over the weekend. There's some great stunt work and fight scenes. I'm quite a martial arts afficionado and I've never seen a fighting style quite like the one Tony Jaa uses. It appears to be some sort of Jump-in-the-air-and-elbow-the-head Fu.
It's best to not think about the plot too much though. |
