I'm reading "The Fatal Shore" by Robert Hughes. Wow, what a story, and what incredible people those were. We'll all be reading it before the trip in October.

Also, I'll throw this in--just discovered Richard Bona on itunes--I think his download might still be free if you get in before Tuesday. If not, "Dipama" is the one we got and I've been listening to it several times a day, which is unusual for me. It's jazz.

Oh, and look for the Upright Animals, a new band out of St. Louis. Their new CD comes out on Sept. 15--I've heard it, and it's great.
