For me its gotta be "Romancing the stone" with Michael Douglas. I wanted to go to Colombia since I've seen for the first time ( which was like 15 years ago )

mmm... but this is a different thread if you can only chose ONE movie??

In which case, I'm going w/Casablanca. From that map shot in the beginning, to the hassle with their exit papers, to the plane taking off at the end, any traveller can relate. Instilled a longing for Morocco in me as well. CLASSIC.

I always take Casablanca as the movie with the Coolest Hero. Unflappable, except for the dame. And he eventually gets a handle on that. Also, nice use of midgets.
