Saw it on the flight back home. Damn good movie! If Jamie Foxx woulda had the glasses on the entire time I would've thought it was Ray. Go see this movie folks.

Yeah, gotta agree on this. The movie was not only great for the performance of Jamie Foxx but also for getting re-acquainted with the marvelous music of Brother Ray. I was inspired enough to go buy his boxed set after listening to some of the songs featured in the movie!
I also liked the fact that the director has not tried to paint a rosy picture of the man, instead just states pretty much what were facts about his somewhat controlling nature. It's a MUST SEE. "I may be lost, but I'm making good time!" |
