by Graham hancock. A good read about different cultures ancient beliefs and myths and how they relate to actual geophysical evidence around the globe,floods,fire,ect...not particularly exciting but extremely fascinating and about 450 pages so can keep you busy for a couple days. Also if you like Giza check out "The Orion Mystery" by Robert beuvaul(something like that)controversial read on why the Giza plateu was laid out like it is,vedy inderesting.thanks.Ciao

I would agree that "Fingerprint of the Gods" is an interesting read and certainly worthwhile.
However, after you've read it, but before you start filling in your friends on just how the Pyramids were built, I'd recommend a second book. "Ancient Mysteries" by Peter James and Nick Thorpe. It's a very interesting read and with a lot of great information. Covering everything from the historical basis for King Arthur and Robin Hood to who and how the Pyramids, Easter Island statues and Nazca Lines came to be. They approach these mysteries with the eyes of a skeptic, but are also open to admitting that some things are just damn hard to explain. I really enjoyed it. |
