Anyone besides me looking forward to this book?

Yes, sadly enough I will be buying it next weekend although I won't be queuing up at midnight for it. Which reminds me - must re-read all the other books this week...!!!!

I used to be embarrassed to admit my love for Harry Potter - but what the hell, I'm not ashamed any more.

I've been re-reading the books, just about done with #5. I pre-ordered my copy, so it should be here saturday and I'm pumped!

Harry Potter books are the best thing since chocolate. I was skeptical at first when my 14 year old brother was reading them, but after picking up the first one myself I didn't stop till I had read all of the books. I can not wait for this final book, isnt it Harry's final year at Hogwarts..should be good!

Nope! No chick books at all. I know alot of guys who read Harry Potter and many check them out of the library. It's really a great series and I encourage you to take a chance.

I was very anti-harry potter for a long time. My two roomates kept trying to get me to read the books, but I've never really been into fantasy so I wasn't biting. Then, while I was studying abroad in the Netherlands, I was feeling a bit lonely so my friends sent me books 1-3. I read them more out of loneliness than anything else, but now I'm completely addicted.

Just kidding....I'm sure they are quite good. But really, I've seen the movies. And when is a book ever as good as the movie?

Not The First Travis- don't knock it till you've tried it..seriously, just read one book, they are not long reads..and if after that you are still unimpressed then you can continue to make fun of us HP fans..come on..you know what want to..

Harry Potter is not girly, afterall he spends all day playing with his wand...

I loved the symbolism in the last movie of Harry "being bad" with his wand at night, under the covers, but pretending to be asleep when his uncle came to check. LOL The director (who also did Y Tu Mama Tambien) really has a way with teenage kids. Too bad he couldn't do more of the series.

Oh...and my copy won't be here until late next week I hope the library copies come in before that. I won't be able to touch them until after Midnight, but I'll grab one for the weekend.
