Did anyone see the latest Sundance Channel show Iconoclasts? They paired Sean Penn with Jon Krakauer and I’m tellin’ ya, I never wanted to drink White Russians while traipsing through Alaska so much in my life. Talk about inspiring. Those two chatted about the story “Into The Wild” and discussed their motivations to live deeply. Jon taught Sean how to climb an ice face. Sean taught Jon how to…um…well, Sean didn’t really need to teach Jon anything. Maybe how to direct a movie and successfully break up with Madonna. Anyway, pure genius.
