Can any of you give me a technique for straightening crooked photos in either the Gimp, Canon's Digital Photo Professional, or some other free program? Sorry, I do not have, nor intend to pay for, Photoshop.

Google have a free photo-managing program called Picasa in which you can very easily straighten photos.

Should be able to download it here.

It looks like that will work perfectly. I think I have heard of them, but I didn't realize that was part of Google. Any, Thanks!

If you have an Apple, the new version of iPhoto has a very simple-to-use photo straightening tool inside the "effects" toolbox.
