Hey guys,

Any opinions on what is the best digicam out there on the market for night time pictures ?

I'll be travelling to Germany this November, and would appreciate getting some nightime pictures. I havent yet come across a digicam (except the SLRs) that take decent night shots. They always come out blurry and out of focus.

Ive got a Casion Exilim EX-Z50 at the moment, by the way.

Opinions/advice ? :-)

Any that have a nightime mode (longer exposures) should be ok.

The blurry/out of focus shots are due to the longer exposures. Shakes of the camera are more obvious as the photos takes longer to take. Trust me this happens with DSLR's too

For best results use the self timer on the camera and have it on a flat surface. This will ensure there is little or no 'camera shake' and your results should be better.
