Terrific photos, Kinga, it looks like an amazing trip. Out of curiosity, do you speak any of the languages used in the countries you're traveling in, or has English been adequate?

And about the languages - for now - it's mostly French. I speak fluent English and Spanish - never really learnt French, but now after four months in French speaking Africa I can have a conversation pretty much about anything. The local languages change too often to pick up much. Sometimes within one country (like Burkina Faso for example), from one village to another - and there's already a different language...
