Gotta Love the GB

Heya - I framed a bunch of my pics and have them all around my house. I recently walked into the room and notice the pics have all got concentric semi-circle/ripple-like wrinkles in them (think waves you get from throwing a pebble in a pond). I have never had this happen before and I'm not sure what the problem is! The photos were all printed from digital prints, but at several different shops, and different times. In fact, they just appeared simulaneously in photos printed over a year ago and photos printed last month. The frames are also from different sources/brands. The only thing they all have in common is that they are in my house and they were in my car for a couple hours one day, but again not ALL of them got the wrinkles.

Anyone have ANY clue what could be causing this?

Ok, that makes more sense than ghosts - since all the ghosts in my house are friendly Razz

But yeah, it was August in Boston, to say the air was damp would be an understatement. Now, I wonder what I can do to prevent this in the future... probably nothing, short of moving, hay?

Here's some good info from photo.net about mounting and framing photos and dealing with humidity.
