OMG. I want this table! It would be perfect to put a couple photos all all my leftover foreign money!

That being said, I can't afford it. OR the album I want. It's a Hallmark Stories album, I got one as a gift last year and it was perfect for my Oz photos. But I'd have to buy my own this year and I have 400 photos this year, resulting in a bill of $75 just for the album (my photos ran me about that much already)

SO, anyone have an suggestions on where to get a similar table (mostly want a way to display the money) and/or NICE, cheap albums? I like being able to add different pages, but I really am not a fan of 3-ring albums, I like post-bound ones, they just look nicer. Adding captions and scrapbooking is a nice idea, but it just doesn't happen in my world. Ideally I'll put in a single scrapbook page separating the photos from each different country.

Suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

p.s. http://www.hellotraveler.com is a fabulous site for albums, journals, scrapbooks, frames, they just don't have exactly what I'm looking for! The closest one is also sold at Ritz for cheaper...

TracyAnn - Thanks for the compliment about the website, I'm glad that you like it.

Yea, isn't that table so cool? The image shows it with b&w photos...so imagine it with color pics!

If I understood what you were describing in the way of an album, I'd be interested in that myself. Both personally and for the website. Have you seen an album that has primarily photo insert sleeves but also an occasional scrapbook page sprinkled throughout? If so, any information you can provide would be most appreciated. (I've looked at hundreds of albums and haven't seen that yet.)

Also, in all my years of shopping, working on the wholesale side of biz and now buying for retail....the qualities of: nice and cheap....don't generally go together. Usually, you get what you pay for.

Any other feedback...from anyone....is most appreciated.

Ooo weird, I didn't even know you were on here, I found hellotraveler on google!!

Anyway, the only thing I've seen which fits the bill is the Hallmark Stories system, which is the one I couldn't afford in the first place. It's an oversized post-bound album that you can get all kinds of different refill pages for... I have never seen 12x12 photo pages, like for a normal post-bound scrap book, so that's why I like the Hallmark one.

I ended up with a cheap 3-ring-style album from the Christmas Tree Shop that has 5 photopockets on each side of the page - it looked like it was 12x12 so I thought I'd be able to add in scrap book pages easily, but it's not... it's 11x13... go figure. I should be able to buy some hinge-style scrapbook pages though and trim them down and punch holes in them. Not ideal, but good enough!

Again, compliments on the site, that table is going on my wishlist for xmas!!
