Hello,

I have a question for those seasoned Internet Cafe users out there. My husband and I are about to travel around the world for a year or so. We want to share our photos with friends and family but are not taking a laptop with us, rather, we are relying on cyber cafes.

We are seriously considering buying the Sony Mavica CD-400 camera. This burns the pics directly to a CD which we can then put in a CD rom in the computer to then send to our friends and family.

Our question: from your experience, do cybercafes generally have CD roms on the computer units that we would be able to insert our CD and access our pictures? Or are they mostly keyboard and monitor and nothing else?

What are your thoughts on this?

Has anyone used/traveled with the Sony Mavica CD-400 (or the other versions of the CD camera)?

Thanks!
