I bought the XTi about a year ago right when it came out, and I love it. The thing that set it apart from all the other cameras for me was the dust reduction system. Even after a year and 12,000 photos, my pictures almost always come out free of dust, which is the biggest issue I've seen people who own other SLRs complain about.
