Backpacking through SEA has anyone come across internet cafes that have the facilities to read camera memory cards? and if so what kind of cards could they read? ie. SD or CF?

I ask because I'm on the verge of deciding on a new SLR body and am tempted between the Nikon D50 and Nikon D70s. The D50 uses SD cards, unheard of before in SLR's. The advantage is that my laptop at home reads all the "small" cards, but not compact flash. I have a CF card reader and CF cads fro mmy old camera, but am wondering if I can move away from it, and if I can avoid hauling a card reader around with me through SEA?

FWIW, I don't care about the realtive merits of either card, just the IF internat cafes around SEA have card readers available for use and IF so what format they'll take? I figure since so many new computers have card readers built in there is a possibilty that the internet cafes might have them...

Never seen a card reader in any internet cafés. I carried an SD card reader about the size of a highlight pen which I also used to read the SD cards of my Palm PDA. It was a great arrangement.

Go with the most common format! Last saturday, I did not buy an olympus digital camera at 25% off (to replace my stolen--and sorely missed--Pentax WP. Olympus is superior because the digital zoom was a joke) simply because it uses a different card format. I hate it if companies can't stick to the standard format!
