Does anyone know of a site that has a full list of hostels in Switzerland. HostelWorld.com and Hostels.com hardly list any for the cities I am going to (Geneva, Interlaken, Zurich). I can't imagine that there are only two or three hostels in each of those cities...

yeah there's not that many in switzerland

interlaken you have a 4 or 5
balmers (good fun although overrun with americans), balmers tent village, funny farm, happy and one or two others.

zurich is a real pain too

there's a big youth hostel out of town 15-20 min tram ride, the only hostel in town is tiny and usually fully booked up.
(make sure you book a bed as its usually full up)

also try

google 'sleeping in straw' for farm stays too
www.sac.cas.ch (not in english) has mountain huts
www.trav.com / hostelbookers.com may offer other places

www.youthhostel.ch will have the full list of youth hostels

www.swissbackpackers.ch has another 20 or so places
