I was about to recommend Hotel Kangaroo before I saw your second posting. Yes, it is a nice hotel with a decent restaurant, a little further away from Old Town, but not too far.

54 Euro? I think we paid 40 or 45 back in 2006.... Roll Eyes

I only visited Kotor as daytrip so have no idea about aby hotel there...

hello everyone not long to go now

I eventually ended up getting 3 nights in budva and have decided to do a day trip to kotor

hoping to get the bus over in the morning, climb up the hillside to see the ruined fortress of st ivan and fjord views and then have a look around the town takes some pictures and have a late afternoon food and drink

my question is do busses run all day long, budva to kotor
what time is the last bus back to budva

how frequent are these and
what is the journey time including a (a straight forward border crossing) to dubrovnik/ croatia , again how frequent are these buses and times of day

would taxi's in montenegro be a viable alternative or would they be far too expensive

finally i get to bar (off the overnight from beograd) at about 8-9am, how frequent are the busses to budva and how long will they take.

many thanks in advance
