Thorn Tree Refugee |
Anyone ever stay in Montmartre? I have hearded mixed reviews, some people say it is cool place to check out others say it is kind of creepy and wouldn't stay there. If it is good place to stay any hotels or hostels to stay at? I was thinking about staying at Hotel Bonsejour Montmartre. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I stayed in Montmarte twice at Le Village Hostel. Perfectly good place to start. It's an ok place, I had little trouble there although if you plan on seeing the Sacre Cour watch out for the guys selling wristbands. It'll be on you before you know it, they can't take it off and they'll ask 20euros!!! Walk away from them - ti's an appalling scam. Metro nearby, moulin rouge nearby. I liked the place

I stayed there at the Woodstock Hostel. I thought the area was fine. I liked being close to the Sacre Cour, as I hadn't been there before.
