Stoo said he would start this thread but he is very busy with other interesting threads ;-) so I figured I should.

Any of you people in and around Zurich wanna meet up for some drinks.

I will be passing through the town..I know for sure I will be in town the weekend of June 5th and then weekend before July 8th. Not sure about the dates in between yet...no clue what am doing after I land.

I remember somebody else was going to pass through...Kathryn?

I'd like to, but I don't think I can do that time frame. Surely, if you're coming all the way to Zurich you're continuing on to Kyiv? It is the logical progression. San Francisco, New York, London, Zurich, Kyiv. The famous backpacker route...

Well, there is a certain boot (who I won't speak for publicly, other than mentioning) is planning to be in Zurich, loosely, form 23 June to 25. News soon.

And there is another boot who sorta is half considering it after FLAKING on an end of May meet-up in the neighborhood, and might cave to invisible peer pressure, assuming 'they' read this.

I'm afraid I couldn't make it in june, but maybe july would be possible, though I'd have to check my co-workers vacation schedules first. If I can make it, I'd love to come. I've never been to Switserland, and it seems like an easy overnight train journey, and drinks with fellow booties are always good Trinque

Don't you worry - very little escapes my watch....

If this certain, unnamed boot were to be in Europe, it'd be in the June 16 to 24-ish window. The end date, coincidentally, is also the unnamed party's birthday.

Americans don't need a visa to come to Ukraine.
