Shortly after moving to Europe I heard of a 'mystery' flight that LuxAir would have every-so-often. You pack a small bag, pay the airfare, and you don't know where you're going 'til you're on the plane! It's only for a couple of days, and you're back home. How exciting is that?

I have since looked into it by checking their online site and couldn't find any information, and I've checked with different travel agencies with no luck. Has anyone by chance heard of this, or even better, given it a try?

i've not heard of this but

at the moment if you get a friend to zip you up in a suitcase at heathrow terminal 5, you could end up anywhere or just plain lost

thats your second best option

I learned a long time ago that to make a trip really enjoyable, avoid Heathrow at all costs.
