Hey guys and gals!

This fall I’m headed to Spain to spend at least 4 months in Sevilla. I plan on traveling to Portugal and Morocco while I’m there but other than that the possibilities are endless.

So I guess I have three main questions: 1) Does anyone have advice for living in Spain, getting along with the locals, proper etiquette, customs, etc…? 2) What sights in or out of Spain should I see in my spare time? 3) And where would you suggest that my mom and I travel when she comes to visit in late Dec/early Jan?

I think that my mom will be visiting for 2 ½ -3 weeks and I know that she wants to spend some time in Italy. As far as weather is concerned, what areas of Europe will be the most pleasant in the middle of the winter?

I couldn’t be more excited about this trip! But this will be the first time that I will be traveling “alone” (i.e. without family or close friends), so I would really appreciate any suggestions!
