Well, it turns out after my first visit to Europe this year (Iceland) I still have a few vaca days left and I am toying with the idea of addding a couple more European countries under my belt.

I am thinking of doing Czech Republic (mainly Prague) and one other destination (maybe Budapest or Brussels or Turkey or Austria?) in about 10-12 days.

I understand this is far less time to afford a deep exploration of any given place but this is all I have and I was trying to see if I can pull it off and do the important places (in my case at least the capitals and maybe a day trip outside)

Let me know what you guys think if this can be done and is worthwhile (time and money-wise)

Hard to say, not knowing where you start/finish and what your itinerary is. What is the total time you you've got?
If it's 10-12 days more, that would be enough for more than one place to visit.
How about southern Poland - Wrocław, Kraków, Zakopane and Tatra mountains?

I should have phrased my question better.

What I meant was, I'd have about 10-12 days total (probably in November) starting from home (Boston) and coming back and I was wondering if, in that time, I could pull off 2 (relatively small) European countries.

One of them would preferably be Czech Republic (mainly Prague) since I've wanted to go there for some time... and I ponder if there would be time to do a second smallish country ... without being a complete checklist tourist maniac.

Oh and did I mention this would be in the middle of November as that is the only time I can afford (time and money-wise)
